Your child's safety starts with you.

Gain the knowledge and confidence to handle choking, burns, falls, fevers and everyday accidents with calm assurance.

Every parent hopes they'll never need First Aid.  But every parent deserves to feel prepared. not just for the emergencies but the everyday bumps too.

Whether it's a choking scare, a nasty bump, a high temperature or a burn, emergencies are frightening, knowing what to do changes everything.

Drawing on over 30 years as a Paediatric Nurse, Health Visitor and mum of two, I'll teach you the practical skills and confidence to respond calmly to everyday accidents and emergencies I see coming to the London Paediatric A&E where I have worked for over 26 years.

Knowing what to do can make all the difference when it matters most.

Mama's Reviews & Love Notes

We had such a lovely time doing our first aid training, which was hosted at my boyfriends parents house. The whole atmosphere felt so relaxed and comfortable, and there was a fantastic spread of food that made it feel more like a gathering than a course. Katherine was absolutely wonderful, so warm and welcoming. She took her time with us, made sure we really understood each step, and created a space where we felt confident asking questions and learning at our own pace.

Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better way to do this training. Highly recommend.

Why First Aid & Home Safety is different

There are plenty of first aid courses available but Baby Steps has always been about much more than teaching techniques.

With over 30 years of NHS experience as a Registered Paediatric Nurse and Health Visitor, alongside 26 years in Paediatric Accident & Emergency and supporting local families, I understand not only what parents need to know, but how they need to learn it.

My courses are practical covering the topics parents need to know on a day to day basis as well as peace of mind for any emergencies as well as how to prevent accidents.

It's to help you feel calmer, more prepared and confident enough to enjoy family life, knowing you'll know what to do if the unexpected happens.

You'll leave with practical skills, trusted advice and the reassurance that no question is ever too small.
