Hi, I'm Katherine

Katherine Whitby
RN (Child) · Health Visitor · Mum of Two
I've been supporting families and their little ones for over 30 years — and I'm a mum of two myself, so I truly understand the worries that come with parenthood.
As a Registered Paediatric Nurse and Health Visitor, I trained and worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital and spent more than 25 years in Paediatric A&E. I've seen first-hand the accidents and illnesses that happen to children, and I know what parents need to feel prepared.
'
For the past 20 years, I've been running Baby Steps First Aid courses, combining real-world A&E experience with community nursing insight and practical home safety advice. This course brings all of that knowledge together in one place — so you can handle emergencies calmly and help prevent accidents before they happen.
