Drawing on 20 years of supporting with families with Weaning plus my own Weaning journeys as a parent of two, this super practical class time and time again ensures parents feel excited about his stage. ​ For this invaluable 2.5 hour class you will receive in the post a comprehensive Weaning Guide covering all info from the course, plus further handouts to refer to on your Weaning journey. Weaning Safely gives you all the information you need to feel super prepared, with the opportunity to ask questions, whatever stage you are at, and most of all to ensure you’re going to enjoy creating the foundations of happy family meal times. The first half an hour focuses on First Aid for Weaning, the most common anxieties gagging, choking and allergies to ensure you cam move forward with Weaning confidently. Following the latest recommendations, I will advise you step-by-step on when and how to introduce different nutritious foods to your baby. We discuss different texture options for weaning including 'traditional' purees, finger foods and ‘baby led weaning’, time saving tips, teething and dental care, cups and dummies are also discussed to ensure you feel confident about the many questions that arise during this stage of your baby’s development.
