Or courses available in the comfort and convenience of your home Drawing on 30 years experience in the NHS and from 23 years working in Paediatric Accident and Emergency this super practical course covers how to manage emergency first aid and illnesses plus super practical advice for you at home, First Aid and medicinal kits, key areas for safe proofing your home, where and when to get help, ensuring the course is just what you need. You will receive a First Aid Manual and many comprehensive handouts in a goody bag. ​ The two and a half hour course will give you confidence, huge reassurance and peace of mind and is highly beneficial for expectant parents, parents, grandparents. I follow the latest Guidelines and work alongside leading Health Professionals and Child Safety charities to give the most up to date advice. We will cover: Choking and what to do if a baby or child stopped breathing - plenty of time to practice easy to remember techniques, one manikin per person, complete with easy to refer to handout and magnet Burns and scalds Bleeding, cuts and grazes Falls, Head injuries, bumps and bruises Ingestions Meningitis Managing fever and febrile convulsions, tummy bugs Allergic Reactions Accident Prevention and Home Safety advice Safer Sleep advice for newborns I can't wait to welcome you and your baby, Katherine x Cost: Prices are £45 per person or £40 per person when booking more than one place or if friends and family book too saving 15%.
