Baby and Child First Aid
As your babies and children grow, every age and stage brings new excitement but also new questions about your child's safety. Parents of a delicate newborn will have differing concerns to those of a fearless toddler learning to walk or an adventurous 7-year-old climbing trees.
This super practical course covers how to manage emergency first aid and illnesses as well as in the home, First Aid and medicinal kits, key areas for safe proofing your home, ensuring the course is just what you need. You will receive a First Aid Manual and many comprehensive handouts for you to keep and refer to in the future. During a home courses I can offer individual advice and recommendations for safe proofing your home.
The two and a half hour course will give you confidence, huge reassurance and peace of mind and is highly beneficial for expectant parents, parents, grandparents. I follow the latest Guidelines and work alongside leading Health Professionals and Child Safety charities to give the most up to date advice.
The course will be tailored to your needs. I will listen to the topics you would like to cover plus recommend those which are important at your little one's age and stage or in preparation for newborns.
Choking and what to do if a baby or child stopped breathing - plenty of time to practice easy to remember techniques, one manikin per person, complete with easy to refer to handout and magnet
