Katherine Whitby, Founder of Baby Steps

Registered Paediatric Nurse, Health Visitor & Certified Infant Massage Instructor.

Katherine

Following a childhood wish to be a Children’s Nurse my career started in 1995 as a Paediatric Nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This was followed by a stint at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital’s Paediatric Accident and Emergency Department, and then at the Cromwell Hospital. In 2004 I moved into the Community as a Health Visitor and now work part time as a Liaison Health Visitor in the NHS at a London Hospital. In 2006 I qualified as an Infant Massage Instructor and I’m amazed at all the benefits Baby Massage can offer. I now have over sixteen years experience in answering parents’ questions about all aspects of childcare, and offering practical, reassuring advice and support. I am Mummy to Isabella…my best job of all!

Hannah Love

Registered Paediatric Nurse and Nutritionist

HannahPrior to joining Baby Steps in 2008 my background was in Children's Nursing (mainly in an Accident and Emergency setting), private Nursing, Maternity Nursing, and as a Nanny for families as well as practicing as a private Nutritional Therapist.

These qualifications and experience of caring for both sick and healthy children mean that I am able to answer all of the Mums (and dads) questions, on all aspects of childcare, health, first aid and safety. Since joining Baby Steps I have had my own son Oliver and have started
my own business; Yummy Baby Group that I run alongside Baby Steps courses and being a Mummy.
